Welcome to New Leaf Montessori

New Leaf Montessori is the dream of Helen Joseph, the Owner/Director/AMI Trained Guide of the school. After serving the Volusia County Montessori community for 15 years, Ms. Helen's love and dedication to guiding young children inspired her to open her own school.

​

Located in beautiful Lake Helen, FL, New Leaf Montessori opened its doors in the Fall of 2017. Ms. Helen's vision is to create an environment that fosters a love of learning and exploration, along with teaching children "grace and courtesy". 

​

New Leaf Montessori consists of a Toddler Classroom, as well as a Primary Classroom. Additional, there is an outdoor play area for children to develop their coordination,  explore nature, or just have fun blowing bubbles. Within the outdoor area there is sensory garden area consisting of flowers and herbs. The children are encouraged to care and tend to their garden area.

HOURS:

Primary Students Half Day is 8:00 to 11:30am 

Primary Full Day is 8:00 to 3:00pm 

 

Toddler Half Day is 8:15am to 11:30am 

Toddler Full Day is 8:15am to 3:00pm

 

Aftercare 3:00pm to 4:30pm
